Surface of strawberry at high magnification looks weird. I never thought that strawberries are hairy, and their seeds have sprouts. I had just one problem when took source photos for this picture: strawberry is too glossy. I placed white plastic bag around berry to diffuse daylight, and this makes reflects acceptable. However, we clearly see surface
cell structure only with reflects.

snowflake macro photography), and combined
averaging and
focus stacking techniques: 10 groups of shots with different focus was captured; each group contained 8 identical photos for averaging (80 source RAW photos total).
Interesting: Google's
Deep Dream sees it that way. :)
